Company History
Govan was founded in 2001 by Francis Best. The initial objective was to provide accounting and bookkeeping services to individuals and small companies. These services also included – finance, tax, cash flow and forecasting. After careful decision making, the management team decided to feature mortgage consulting as part of the services offered. That decision has worked out well for both the clients and for Govan. In listening to our clients’ comments Govan decided to further integrate client needs with Govan services. A past working relationship with VP marketing has allowed Govan to team up once again, but this time, to provide advertising and marketing ideas to our small business clients. This helps our clients’ businesses grow and prosper. Once more, through networking, Govan decided to implement the services of a lawyer to coincide with small business and mortgage needs.
Many of the clients who have been with us since the inception are based on personal relationships. Our client base has grown exponentially, mainly due to word of mouth. Moreover, our clients’ businesses are frequently evolving, and therefore, their needs are constantly changing. In an effort to continuously grow ourselves, meet the needs of our clients, and to continually expand the client base, Govan is continually evolving as well.
Ultimately, our goal is to provide integrated solutions for small businesses. This means that we can provide and assist in all of the financial aspects of a small business. We can maintain the marketing the small business to our client’s target market. We can assist in any legal matters for the client. And we can help our clients find the ideal location for their business.
Our services are not only limited to small businesses, however. Our financial, legal and mortgage services are offered to individuals as well. The April tax season is one of our busiest cycles.
Govan believes in keeping its clients happy. We strive to provide a superior customer service, by working with our clients. We believe that in order to work efficiently and effectively, communication is the key, and we maintain a pleasant relationship with each and every client. Every client is number one, and ensure that they are treated that way.
